Recently, a new yoga clothing company called Aqua Burns, reached out to me. Their website is chock full of fun, funky, and bright designs. Most of my yoga clothes are black, grey, or dark green, so I thought it would be fun to try out a funky design or two that this company is known for. So far, I love them...
I bought a pair of leggings and a sports bra. I have now worn those two items somewhat frequently for a couple of months. I wanted to test them out and see how I really liked them, how they fit during a yoga class, and how they are holding up after a little use.
I love them. They are thick, but not too hot. They are made with more of the "comfy" material (which is my favorite), as opposed to the spandex-y slick yoga clothes. They have a control band at the tummy and have a perfect rise (not low rise at all, but not too high either... just right, at the belly button area). I really have no negatives. The sports bra is made of the same material and is very comfortable as well. I honestly love it. It doesn't shift around and it's the perfect amount of compression for yoga.
I treat all of my yoga clothes very gently. I never, ever, ever dry any of them in the dryer, and I would suggest you do the same. It breaks down the material MUCH faster and your leggings won't last nearly as long as if you hang dry them. That goes for ANY yoga legging, so I have been treating these just like I treat my lululemon favorites.
This company has a lot of designs to choose from, ranging from the feminine to the bold and quirky. Even though I am a serial black wearer, I will be buying more items from them. Here's a few designs right from their website.
Lastly, it's a small company, owned by a woman (hey, Stephanie!) who is starting up a business and going after her dreams. I love supporting other women, so I'm happy that I love her products and can honestly say I recommend them.
I discovered Aqua Burns when they reached out to me and offered me a position in their ambassador program. Basically, this means I get a discount on their products (and post photos when I am so inspired on social media) and can pass along a coupon code to you, too! That's it-- I'm not an paid affiliate, or anything like that. Just a great way for a new company to market. Everybody wins.
All U.S. shipping is free, and here's a coupon code at Aqua Burns that you can always use which gives you 15% off your total purchase: BLAKE15
HOWEVER, for the rest of the month of August, get 40% off your entire purchase with this code: NEWLIFE40.
*A word on fit: the sports bras run a little big, and the leggings run a little small. Remember that when ordering.
Love & Light.
