I had so much fun writing this one. I present to you my Holiday Gift Guide-- a short list of gift ideas that I’ve rounded up for last minute gifts or stocking stuffers. Here, you'll find a few things I own that either add a little luxury to my life or make my life a lot easier, so I thought I'd pass them along to you. Most of them are very practical, and none of them are over $45. I hope it gives you a little inspiration, but remember-- stuff is just stuff! Don't sweat the small stuff this holiday season!
Peppermint oil is one of my greatest loves, and I use it a lot. I always have a bottle in my purse for the occasional headache or when I’m feeling tired. If you’re not familiar with peppermint oil and the many uses for it, here’s a great link right from DoTerra that will give you a good start. Just remember, peppermint oil is really strong! So a little goes a long way.
Since I love it so much, my sister in law recently had a great idea… write a holiday post on some festive uses for peppermint oil (thanks, Allison!). I really tried hard to only put things in this particular post that the average super busy person would actually attempt... so if you like these ideas, there are SO many more out there for DIY household, bath, beauty and even food recipes.
Here they are... nine EASY, fast, fun and festive ways to get into the holiday spirit with peppermint.
For the month of December, my local classes and I are having a focus of inversions. I chose this theme thoughtfully, since I’ve noticed over the years that my yoginis come in tired, rushed, and overbooked this time of year. What does this have to do with inversions? Glad you asked…
Some inversions are relaxing (like Legs Up Wall Pose), and then some are mood boosting (like Shoulderstand, Handstand, etc). Both qualities seem, to me, like good ones to cultivate this time of year when life is busy. Read on for more information on how inversions can benefit you.
